Andy wanted to move away from his corporate business offering guided outdoor experiences and expeditions under an already established name (U-Turn Back2Basics) to move this into a not for profit organisation focused entirely on supporting the UK Armed Forces community and blue light emergency services.
Teaming up with Andy to turn the vision into reality, Steve brings invaluable insight as a DWP Armed Forces Champion. He uses his knowledge to guide veterans through available support pathways while helping set up and run local drop-in sessions, and ensureing retreats go smoothly.
As our resident technical expert, Chris utilizes his vast elite forces training to support operations behind the scenes and in the field, ensuring our retreats and community sessions run seamlessly and securely.
An RAF Regiment veteran—though we try not to hold that against him—Gaz brings unmatched banter and top-tier morale to the team. Leveraging his extensive network, he plays a key role in sourcing essential kit and equipment for our camps, ensuring anyone can join us even if they don't have their own gear.
